About Us
The Kingston Pike-Sequoyah Hills Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization that exists in the interest of maintaining and improving the residential qualities of the community. Encouraging neighborly communication, promoting beautification and community pride, cooperating with local and state government and other associations with similar aims and purposes, and maintaining the integrity of zoning and deed restrictions … these are just a few of the many facets of the neighborhood association. We also maintain a good relationship with law enforcement agencies to help ensure the security and safety of residents, we research, record, and promote interest in the history of the community, and we work to continue the development and maintenance of public parks in the community.
The Sequoyah Hills Preservation Society was founded in 1997 for the purpose of preserving, improving and making more beautiful the common areas of Sequoyah Hills for the enjoyment of its residents and our community. The Sequoyah Hills Preservation Society merged with the Kingston Pike-Sequoyah Hills Association on July 1, 2015. It is now the Beautification and Preservation Committee with the same responsibilities that it had as the Sequoyah Hills Preservation Society.
The KP-SHA Board meets the first Monday of each month. The meetings are open to the public, please contact the president to confirm the location and time if you would like to attend, etc. The board also hosts an annual meeting each spring.
